Improved quantum sampling methods for molecular simulations

The study improves Quantum-selected Configuration Interaction (QSCI) methods by using measurement-basis engineering. Instead of measuring in a single basis, distributing measurements across multiple non-orthogonal orbital bases allows for more efficient identification of low-energy configurations. This leads to higher quality configurations and better energy convergence for the simulation, even when classical resources are limited.
