Geometric Optimization over Quantum State Spaces: Tight Uncertainty Relations and Resource Certification
The work introduces a method using support functions to find exact limits for nonlinear quantum measurement statistics over quantum state spaces. By mapping the problem onto a reduced space and using an outer-approximation algorithm, it derives tighter bounds for uncertainty relations and certifies maximum detectable athermality from restricted measurements, showing standard methods are often too loose.
