N'eel Ordered Magnetic Phases in Bipartite Quasicrystals

The study investigated magnetic phases in half-filled Hubbard models on 2D bipartite quasicrystals using projector quantum Monte Carlo simulations. The authors found that while bipartite crystals usually show antiferromagnetism (AFM), bipartite quasicrystals can exhibit altermagnetic (AM) or ferrimagnetic (FIM) states. They propose a symmetry-based criterion to classify these Néel orders based on the point-group symmetry of the structure.
