Rationalizable Behavior in Matching with Externalities
The paper introduces conjecture-rationalizable stability to handle externalities in matching markets where agents care about others' matches too. This concept always exists and extends Gale-Shapley stability when no externalities are present. It links rationalizability, a logic from game theory, to matching solutions, providing an epistemic foundation based on pairwise rationality.
