SpectralTrain: A Universal Framework for Hyperspectral Image Classification
SpectralTrain is a universal training framework for hyperspectral image classification that improves learning efficiency by combining curriculum learning with PCA-based spectral downsampling. It starts training with compressed, low-cost spectra and gradually restores full spectral complexity as the model learns, leading to 2–7 times faster training times without significant accuracy loss.
