Entangling remote qubits through a two-mode squeezed reservoir
The paper shows a new way to entangle distant qubits by using a quantum-correlated photonic reservoir. Instead of complex control, two separate superconducting transmon qubits are driven into an entangled steady state by microwave fields from a Josephson parametric converter. This method allows for autonomous entanglement distribution over distances and enables direct certification of two-mode squeezing without needing noise calibration.
