ACACIAS II: element abundances for 39 stars in the dwarf galaxy Sculptor

The ACACIAS II program aimed to create a uniform dataset of stellar abundances across different dwarf galaxies for comparison with the Milky Way. The study analyzed low-resolution spectra of 39 stars in the Sculptor galaxy using a data-driven method called 'The Cannon.' This approach successfully determined key elemental ratios like [Mg/Fe] and [C/Fe] with good precision, proving that low-resolution spectra can build useful chemical abundance catalogs for understanding galactic evolution.
