Observational Signatures of Dyonic Black Holes in Non-Linear Electrodynamics
The study investigated thin accretion disks around dyonic black holes described by non-linear electrodynamics (NLED). Modifications to NLED cause the innermost stable circular orbit (ISCO) radius to shrink, shifting the thermal spectrum's peak to smaller radii and increasing its local temperature. These findings suggest NLED models provide distinct observational signatures that are consistent with Event Horizon Telescope data for Sagittarius A*.
