Infrasound Newtonian Noise Estimation at the Einstein Telescope Candidate Site Sos Enattos
The study analyzed seasonal changes in atmospheric infrasound at Sos Enattos to estimate its impact on Newtonian noise for the Einstein Telescope. Results show that while underground deployment is necessary to keep noise below design limits, depth alone is insufficient. Controlling local sources and future laboratory equipment will be crucial for meeting detector sensitivity requirements.
