Delayed Radio Flares in Neutrino-associated Blazars: The Case of TXS 0506+056
The study investigated whether a delayed radio flare in TXS 0506+056 was a direct echo of the neutrino-producing region becoming transparent. Modeling showed that simple expanding blob scenarios failed, but a scenario involving downstream particle re-dissipation after the source became optically thin at GHz frequencies successfully explained the radio evolution. This suggests the delayed radio flare traces how energy dissipates and how jet beaming changes far downstream.
