Distributed Deep Joint Source-Channel Coding with Decoder-Only Side Information
The work proposes DeepJSCC-WZ, a novel neural network for joint source-channel coding of images over noisy wireless channels. It uses decoder-only side information from a second correlated image to improve transmission quality and reduce communication overhead. The method achieves superior performance across various channel conditions by jointly optimizing reconstruction fidelity and visual perception.
