Hyperbolic lattices with mass disorder: Phases and phase transitions
The study investigates how mass disorder affects electronic phases in nearest-neighbor tight-binding models on three types of hyperbolic lattices. It finds that a Dirac liquid phase is stable against weak disorder, but a quantum phase transition occurs at moderate disorder, leading to a metal. Stronger disorder eventually drives the system into an Anderson metal-to-insulator transition.
