mm-jets in the multi-messenger era

ALMA2040 is a next-generation millimeter/sub-millimeter interferometer designed to study relativistic jets across cosmic scales, from YSOs to AGN and GRBs. It aims to answer key questions about jet launching, acceleration, dissipation, and environmental coupling by providing high sensitivity, full-Stokes polarization, and rapid response capabilities. This will establish mm/sub-mm astronomy as a cornerstone for time-domain jet physics in the 2040s.
