Ultraviolet diversity of Little Red Dots as a probe for direct-collapse black hole ages
The study investigates how UV emission from host galaxies in Little Red Dot candidates evolves rapidly within 30 million years after a direct-collapse black hole forms. By analyzing the UV-optical color proxy $\Delta$mag ($\log_{10} L_{5100}/L_{2500}$), researchers established three distinct phases of black hole growth, linking UV evolution to stellar mass build-up and metal enrichment.
