Measurement-induced enhancement of the X-parity lifetime in a Majorana tetron

The study investigates how coupling a Majorana tetron to an auxiliary readout dot stabilizes its X-parity lifetime against noise. By inducing an energy splitting, this coupling shifts noise-driven transitions to higher frequencies, effectively suppressing low-frequency fluctuations. This stabilization allows the measured X-parity switching time to reach microsecond scales, significantly exceeding the intrinsic coherence of the isolated tetron.
