A Comprehensive AGN Inventory for the Dwarf-Dominated RESOLVE and ECO Surveys: Mass-Dependent AGN Types and Occupation Fractions
This research mapped Active Galactic Nuclei (AGN) across dwarf, transitional, and giant galaxies using BPT plots and WISE colors. It found AGN occupation increases steeply with galaxy mass, shifting from star-forming types in dwarfs to conventional types in giants. This reveals that AGN demographics are strongly linked to a galaxy's mass and gas content.
