In-situ tunable superconducting diode: towards field-free operation with infinite nonreciprocity
Researchers developed four-terminal niobium Josephson junctions to create an in-situ tunable superconducting diode capable of threshold-free rectification and Gauss neuron operation. By using asymmetric biasing and split/control line current modes, they achieved reentrant superconductivity and demonstrated near-perfect signal isolation (A > 10^3) without needing an external magnetic field.
