Market Strategy Evaluation for Prosumers in Local Electricity Markets
This research simulated a community of 33 prosumers using an agent-based model to test four market strategies for participating in a uniform-price double-sided call auction. It found that resource control, specifically an extended storage cascade, significantly cuts community energy costs by 37.4%. Furthermore, the market-adaptive pricing strategy provided the largest financial gain under summer conditions, showing that optimal strategy depends on portfolio and season.
