Fast, parallel, three-dimensional rearrangement of atom arrays using superpositions of elementary holograms
This work demonstrates a method for real-time, parallel rearrangement of neutral atoms using high-speed spatial light modulators (SLMs). The technique calculates holograms analytically by summing individual trap fields and linearly ramping their phases. This allows for rapid, parallel movement of all atoms in two or three dimensions with high accuracy, achieving 99.31% survival probability in under 20 ms.
