Stability of Quantum LDPC States under Local Pauli Noise
The study uses the exponential decay of noise-induced conditional mutual information (CMI) across a separating buffer in quantum low-density parity-check (qLDPC) codes to determine mixed-state phase stability under local Pauli noise. It establishes two distinct regimes—weak and strong noise—governed by different bounds, providing a general criterion for stability that is independent of system size.
