Generalizing Deconfined Criticality to 3D N-Flavor SU(2) Quantum Chromodynamics on the Fuzzy Sphere

The study generalizes deconfined quantum criticality from SO(5) to three-dimensional SU(2) QCD by using non-linear sigma models on fuzzy spheres. It shows that for a large number of flavors (N ≥ 4), the theory possesses a critical phase, providing evidence for an interacting fixed point in gauge theories beyond standard paradigms.
