AI Knows Where You Are: Exposure, Bias, and Inference in Multimodal Geolocation with KoreaGEO
KoreaGEO Bench is a new benchmark for testing how vision-language models locate people using Korean street views. It systematically tests accuracy and bias across different input types—image-only, functional captions, and high-risk captions. Results show that the type of text provided has a bigger impact on location precision than the model's size or architecture.
