Indirect Control of Buried CoB Spin Textures via C 60-Induced Modification of Ir Spin-Orbit Coupling
The study investigated how C60 molecules influence magnetic spin textures in [Pt/CoB/Ir] multilayers by capping them with C60 or Pt. Results showed that C60 significantly alters the magnetic domain structure, leading to a larger domain period and enhanced interfacial Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya interaction (iDMI). This suggests organic films can tune magnetic properties in buried heterostructures without changing the bulk stack order.
