Probing Compact Binary Coalescences in the Decihertz GW Band with IndIGO-D
The study models IndIGO-D, a decihertz gravitational-wave mission using an L-shaped interferometer in a heliocentric orbit to bridge LISA and ground detectors. It finds that IndIGO-D can detect binary neutron star systems up to redshift z~0.3 and intermediate-mass black holes out to very high redshifts, providing early warnings for mergers with localization areas suitable for optical follow-up.
