Strange-metal behavior in correlated molecular conductors
The study investigates $\kappa$-BEDT-TTF salts as prototypical Mott systems to identify 'strange metals.' Experimental results show these compounds exhibit linear resistivity ($ ho(T) \propto T$) and Planckian dissipation, deviating from conventional Fermi-liquid behavior. This strange metal state is linked to incommensurate anion layers causing spatial modulations that enhance electronic correlations.
