Acting from Belief, Looking When Needed: A Bayesian Spatial World Model for Navigation under Intermittent Perception

ALONE is a Bayesian spatial world model that navigates by maintaining an internal belief about the environment, acting from this belief even when perception is suspended. It uses learned geometric priors to predict structure and only requests new sensor observations when necessary for execution, significantly reducing the demand for shared sensors.
