No Routing Needed Between Capsules
Homogeneous Vector Capsules (HVCs) replace traditional matrix multiplication with element-wise multiplication for capsule networks, eliminating dimensional entanglement. Applied to MNIST, this design achieved state-of-the-art results with 5.5x fewer parameters and 4x fewer training epochs than prior methods, requiring no routing mechanism for classification.
