Magnonic cavity-enhanced quantum magnetometry with nitrogen-vacancy centre ensembles

The work proposes a chip-scale NV magnetometer using a one-dimensional YIG/CoFeB magnonic crystal. A structural defect creates a passive magnonic cavity, and permanent magnets provide the bias field. This setup uses micromagnetic simulations and quantum models to predict hyperfine-resolved spectra, achieving projected sensitivities of 93 pT/√Hz through magnon-mediated multispectral sensing.
