Coherent dynamics of individual excitons in a quantum dot embedded in a nanopost
The study measured ultrafast coherent dynamics of exciton complexes in an InAs quantum dot embedded in a GaAs nanopost, which enhances light-matter coupling across a broad spectral range. Using four-wave mixing microscopy, researchers characterized the exciton-biexciton system and determined coherence times of approximately 240 ps, proving the structure is excellent for probing solid-state quantum systems.
