Commutative Algebra Modeling of Mutation and Disease Association

This study introduces a unified framework called CANet and CATree using multiscale commutative algebra to model how genetic mutations disrupt protein structure, stability, and solubility. The approach uses algebraic invariants derived from structural data to create interpretable models that can predict disease associations with higher accuracy than existing methods.
