Modelling optimal implementation of an arbitrary N-qubit quantum gate within the generalized Bloch vectors formalism
The paper introduces a general model using generalized Bloch vectors to optimally implement any N-qubit gate in a closed system. It reformulates optimal control synthesis as solving a two-point boundary value problem (BVP) for ordinary differential equations. This new model allows for high-precision generation of one, two, and three-qubit gates by minimizing a unified cost functional that includes both terminal and integral parts.
