The Radius-Luminosity Relationship for Active Galactic Nuclei with Hierarchical Bayesian Reverberation Mapping

This research introduces a new Bayesian framework for Reverberation Mapping (RM) of Active Galactic Nuclei (AGN) designed to fit lags at scale across large surveys and simultaneously model population properties like the radius-luminosity ($R-L$) relation. The method generalizes traditional stacking by fitting every source, leading to more than double the constraining power on $R-L$ relations and an order-of-magnitude increase in recovered lags.
