Ensemble theory of thermodiffusion

The ensemble theory models coupled thermal and diffusive transport in a single gas using microcanonical principles. It maps molecular motion onto a lattice graph dynamics, showing that thermodiffusion arises from calibrated graph weights rather than explicit momentum transport. The model accurately predicts hard-core gas behavior far from equilibrium.
