DC Conductance of X-shaped Majorana Interferometer reveals Non-Abelian Anyon Statistics
The study proposes a four-terminal, X-shaped chiral Majorana interferometer to directly detect non-Abelian statistics of Ising anyons using DC conductance measurements. By analyzing the linear-response conductance tensor, the researchers found that simultaneous edge vortex and Majorana tunneling activates the fermionic fusion channel. This results in a finite, isotropic conductance signature that serves as direct evidence for non-Abelian statistics.
