Phase-preserving steady-state operations beyond Lindblad master equations
The work implements non-unitary, phase-preserving quantum operations using only a single time-independent Hamiltonian coupled to an infinite ancilla, avoiding measurements. It proves these steady states cannot be described by standard Lindblad master equations. A spectral resonance acts as a switch to turn the operation on or off, providing autonomous quantum control.
