Radio Continuum Study of One of the Brightest Large Magellanic Cloud Supernova Remnants N 132D
This study used radio observations from ATCA and MeerKAT to examine supernova remnant N 132D in the Large Magellanic Cloud. The research found a strong spatial link between radio and X-ray emission, suggesting a connection between thermal and non-thermal plasma. Polarization data indicated predominantly radial magnetic fields, while rotation measure analysis revealed complex structures in the magnetic field geometry.
