A Search for High-Threshold Qutrit Magic State Distillation Routines
The study searched for error-correcting codes that can distill a specific qutrit magic state called the 'strange state.' They found over 600 such codes for $n=23$ qudits, showing that distillation is somewhat generic for large codes. However, none of these found thresholds surpassed the existing 11-qutrit Golay code threshold.
