Reason-IAD is a framework for explainable industrial anomaly detection that uses knowledge and dynamic latent reasoning. It improves upon general models by incorporating category-specific descriptions and an entropy-driven process to explore a compact space. This leads to more accurate, confident, and interpretable detection of defects in industrial images.
