Bubble-Sort Exchange Networks: Symmetry Selection Rules and Language-Model Distillation on Exchange-Only Spin Chains
Researchers developed a 'bubble-sort exchange network' circuit for exchange-only spin qubits to perform quantum distillation of GPT-2 language model distributions. By using specific pulse sequences and Pauli spin blockade readout, they showed that three-spin encodings outperform two-spin encodings, achieving high fidelity distillation rates comparable to tensor network methods.
