LVS: Local View Synthesis from Relative Camera Pose by Reusing Previous Views
The work proposes a framework for synthesizing local views by reusing rendered RGB-D images instead of re-rendering the entire scene for every new camera view. It achieves this through relative-pose-guided geometric warping to transport content and a lightweight multiscale network that predicts and corrects appearance residuals, leading to higher quality synthesis with low query latency.
