Practical wavelength selection for quantum-augmented networks over shared optical fiber

The study developed a method to choose an optimal optical wavelength for quantum communication over shared fiber. It balances three goals: maintaining high logical fidelity, ensuring successful data block acceptance, and managing classical signal reception. The results show that different wavelengths are best for maximizing fidelity versus maximizing the overall yield of usable entangled states.
