Superconductivity in lightly doped Hubbard model on honeycomb lattice

Researchers used large-scale density-matrix renormalization group simulations to study lightly doped Hubbard models on honeycomb lattice cylinders. They found that the ground state exhibits coexisting quasi-long-range superconducting and charge density wave orders, both decaying as power laws with exponents less than two. Spin and single-particle correlations decay exponentially, indicating a finite gap in these sectors.
