Learning Kilometer-Scale Weather Prediction with Global-Regional Alignment
ScaleCast is a regional forecasting framework that combines global weather forecasts with local conditions to improve regional predictions. It uses a Global–Regional Alignment block to project global and regional data onto a common representation, allowing the model to learn how global guidance influences high-resolution regional states.
