Quantifying Gibbs measures of disordered crystals up to the solid-liquid phase transition
The study sought to define Gibbs measures for disordered crystals over complex spaces. The authors propose that a crystal's structure is uniquely encoded in four stable facets of Voronoi cells up to melting. This geometric signature allows for reconstructing the crystal and quantifying its statistical properties using moments derived from simulations, enabling realistic thermal atomic configurations.
