Soft Robotic Exogloves for Dexterous Mobility -- Towards Personalized Rehabilitation

The authors designed and tested a personalized pneumatically-actuated soft robotic exoglove for hand rehabilitation. They used topological scans to tailor actuator geometry to an individual's hand anatomy, fabricating the glove with silicone molds. Finite element analysis confirmed that this personalization allows for precise control over contact forces during human-robot interaction, enabling targeted joint mobilization and assistance.
