Thermal Sunyaev-Zel'dovich Effect in the circumgalactic medium - III: does richness matter?

This study used ACT+Planck observations to measure the thermal Sunyaev-Zel'dovich effect in galaxy groups and galaxies up to $10^{14} M_{\odot}$. It found that the CGM pressure profile shape depends on both mass and richness. Different physical regimes are identified based on these profiles, showing that non-gravitational feedback processes vary significantly across different halo environments.
