Multiband dispersion and warped vortices of strongly-interacting photons
The study investigates how strong interactions between multiple photons affect their spatial wavefunctions using a complex multiband dispersion model instead of simple approximations. This model reveals that for three or more photons, the system exhibits unique features like trigonal warping in vortex rings and enforces physical light-cone boundaries, which are missed by traditional single-band models. This provides a more accurate framework for understanding quantum correlations in interacting polaritons.
