Sub-MHz SWAP spectroscopy of two-level systems in superconducting qubits

Researchers used high-sensitivity SWAP spectroscopy to find coherent Rabi chevrons in two-level systems (TLS) coupled at rates usually considered incoherent. This technique extended coherent detection down to swap rates of about 0.1 MHz, revealing TLS energy relaxation times around 10 microseconds. This suggests that defects previously thought to be incoherent can become coherent when tuned.
