Euclid preparation. Probing galaxy evolution within cosmic voids in Euclid-like simulations

Researchers used Euclid mock data to study how cosmic voids regulate galaxy evolution across cosmic time. They found that galaxies near void centers are less massive overall but have higher star formation rates and assemble their stellar mass more slowly than galaxies in dense regions, suggesting environments dictate growth timelines.
