One-way electron mirrors from single-layer stacking shifts in rhombohedral graphite

Researchers demonstrated a one-way electron mirror using single-layer stacking shifts in rhombohedral graphite. They observed directional reflection asymmetry at stacking boundaries of RG using STM and QPI, showing interference fringes on only one side. This asymmetry arises from mode selection, allowing asymmetric scattering without breaking fundamental physical laws like linearity or time-reversal symmetry.
